JOHANN

CEO

As founder and CEO of Wiz-Team, Johann has more than fifteen years of experience in event data management, working with sports federations, the medical congress industry, corporate companies and government agencies. The diversity of these industries has provided him with a wide-ranging background and an exceptional experience in various types and sizes of events. Johann delivered innovative event management solutions to every Olympic Games since 2004. His previous experience includes web and database development, as well as project management in the luxury industry, and teaching. 

From the Wiz-Team headquarters in the Olympic Capital, Lausanne (Switzerland), Johann manages a global network of developers, translating complex data management requirements into solutions built by event professionals, specifically for event professionals.

Johann holds an MBA in international management and speaks English and French. In his spare time, he enjoys scuba diving and is passionate about new technologies.

TIM

COO

Tim is currently working in the role of COO at Wiz-Team where he is in charge of business development. 

Educated in Business Administration and Economics, and after an early career in financial consulting at Ernst & Young, Tim has 10 + years of experience in the sports industry and the Olympic Movement. Tim holds a master’s degree in sports management, having completed the FIFA Masters in 2005. Most recently he worked at the Association of Summer Olympic Sports Federations (ASOIF) where he was Head of Administration and Projects. He played a major role in the development and expansion of ASOIF and oversaw the establishment of several technology-based solutions. The processes and working systems he established, laid the foundations for ASOIF’s future work through projects such as the development of the Olympic Games issue-tracking system and the ongoing IF Data Project.

Tim also has a solid experience in event management, having worked in 2006 for the FIFA World Cup in event IT as well as having been Head of Operations for SportAccord Convention from 2007 to 2010.

MAX

CTO, product development

When Max was a student at the National Technical University of Ukraine he got first infected with the “web-development virus”. His first development project was the website for his university which went live in 1998. Since then Max has turned his hobby into his profession and has been programming and developing web projects, CRM-Systems, client infrastructures and mobile applications for more than 20 years. His strength lies in identifying the client’s needs with regards to any system or infrastructure. This helps to accelerate the development process, build tailor-made solutions and optimize resources. As a result, Max can lead his team through the process more smoothly and goal oriented.

“There are no impossible tasks” characterizes Max’s philosophy. He says that some challenges might simply take a while to overcome or work around.

When Max is not in front of his computer, you can find him on his bike, traveling or on a boat sport fishing. Being a naturally energetic person, he cannot stand to do nothing or any messy environment. Also, you can chase him with Seafood.

AMELINE

Head of Operations

Ameline joined Wiz-Team as Head of Operations where she is responsible for managing the overall operations to ensure process efficiency, quality, flexibility to all our clients, in timely manner.

Alongside an extensive project management background, Ameline brings more than 15+ experience in the international sport industry, having work as key events positions in various International Federations, such as the International Hockey Federation (FIH), the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) or International Boxing Association (AIBA): from leading the overall boxing events at the London 2012 Olympic Games to delivering the ceremonies operations for the UEFA EURO 2016, or developing and implementing new events concepts and broadcast operations for the FIH.

Ameline holds two master’s degrees in Sport Management, including the FIFA Master which is graduated from in 2006. Former elite athlete in judo, she represented France at international level for 7 years before moving on the coaching side. Passionate about sports, when not helping our clients, Ameline will be on ski, playing squash and/or experiencing new adventures while traveling around the World.

Danielle

Head of strategy & business optimization

As a former Senior Strategy & Business Consultant at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), Danielle joined Wiz-Team as new Head of Strategy & Business Optimization and, and as such, is supporting the company in developing new products and services. She will also be instrumental in the field of product delivery. 

With an academic background in sport management, biomedical engineering and biopsychology, Danielle served for almost 6 years in different event management, strategic planning, and operational roles at the USOPC. Most frequently running lead on the full vertical of delegation management, Danielle has planned and delivered on over 10 major/multi-sport and international events from the athlete, the National Olympic Committee, and the Local Organising Committee perspective. Her greatest tactical expertise lies in strategic planning, project management, process improvement, data management, and solution design.  

A Canadian American, Danielle has a scientific mind, a positive and competitive spirit, and vast event experience and… an impressive collection of achievements from her time as an elite softball player (including a silver medal from the PanAm Games)!

GWENDOLINE

Account management, project delivery

Gwendoline has a strong experience in hospitality and events management. She first worked in the leisure tourism field at Switzerland Tourism in Paris, then at Kuoni Destination Management in Zurich, to finally specialize in business tourism at Lausanne Tourism as Head of the Congress Bureau. While working in the Olympic Capital, she collaborated with several international sports federations and progressively moved into the field of international sport. With more than 300 events to her credit, she succeeds in precisely targeting the needs and expectations of her clients in order to make them live a unique customized experience and optimize their data management and project process.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Tourism and is currently pursuing an Executive Master’s degree in Luxury Marketing in order to master the fascinating and highly demanding codes in this industry. Gwendoline speaks French, Spanish and English.

YANNICK

Global Account Manager

Born and raised in Brussels, Yannick is passionate about IT and new technologies. With more than 350 events organised while working for the European Commission, Yannick has gained a lot of experience in event management, database management and its registration systems (EMS). Having worked in collaboration with international institutions such as the European Parliament, the ECB, the Committee of the Regions, Yannick has acquired a good expertise of their needs and general functioning.

His entrepreneurial side, his studies in international business and digital marketing have also led him to manage several projects in Asia, Africa and on the web.

Continuously learning, Yannick will complete in 2020 an Executive Master in Management & Digital Strategy at the ICHEC business school.

Valentina

Delivery manager

Valentina is passionate about international events and hospitality. Her first steps into this business were with the NGO AIESEC where she took part doing an internship as a coordinator of incoming volunteers. While doing so, she continued studying International Relations and later landed a job in finance business, where she worked for four years and specialized in International commerce and investments.

She also worked in several Sport events such as Youth Olympic Games, Games of The Small States of Europe and Longines Masters.

She considers herself as a “life learner” and therefore she is always trying to learn something new. Her hobbies include travelling, reading and playing sports, namely tennis and running. She speaks English, Spanish and French.

LÉA

Event Assistant & Office Admin

Léa joined Wiz-Team in January 2020, as an Event Assistant and Office Admin. She had a first experience in event management and marketing for private and corporate events. She developped good organisation and communication skills by participating in the planning process and in the on-site event management.

She will pursue a Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Business Economy while working at Wiz-Team in order to expand her knowledge about management and business development.

NINA

Support, training, documentation, on-site operations

Nina joined Wiz-Team in June 2017 as Support and Event Specialist. As such she is the first point of contact for client support, in charge of providing documentation and support for on-site event operations.

She started to work as a marketing assistant during her second year of her Bachelor’s degree in International Business, successfully combining studies and work. Nina holds a Master’s degree in Management Science obtained in Solvay Brussels School. While living in Brussels, she obtained experience in client support and event management at the European Confederation of Directors Associations, working as an assistant for the Secretary General and helping to organise various events at EU level. Before that she served as a sales manager at Easy Languages, promoting their services primarily focusing on clients’ needs. Nina also obtained a certificate of Google Trusted Photographer and used to work there as a freelancer in her spare time.
