In 2016, World Sailing Annual Conference and General Assembly welcomed over 1,000 delegates to Barcelona Spain; Event Works (EW) not only managed registration, accreditation and access control, but facilitated eVoting for elections!
The EW Registration module empowers event operations teams to build lists of potential attendees and invite them to register, all in one place. With a simple click, identified individuals receive auto-generated invitations fit with personalized and secure links to their registration profiles.
On-the-ground support by Wiz-Team SA boosted the size of World Sailing’s operations to better manage and support the accreditation process. Like many of our larger events, access control is key to a safe and coordinated event. The EW Access Control Gate App ensured only approved or eligible individuals gained entry to a variety of secured events (i.e. VIP dinners, voting sessions,
etc.).
