OSCAR™ debuts at the 2016 Olympic Games, bringing communication, route planning, and outfitting under one Event Works (EW) solution.
Organizing a torch relay is complicated and ever changing. For the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, the user friendly and flexible solution for their event was OSCAR™ (Organizing System for Courses and Routes). OSCAR™ is our platform that provides a highly effective and easy-to-use tool for the planning, development and operation of complex moving events, such as a torch relay.
Event organizers in Rio de Janeiro were able to leverage this solution to serve as the central hub for email communication, route planning, daybook generation and stock management of uniforms. Outside of managing the event, EW solutions also played a leading role in facilitating the nominations and selection process for all of the torchbearers.
