Reconciling his degree in Philosophy with the passion for information technlology, born by programming the commondore VIC20 and the ZX Spectrum, in the last twenty years he has distinguished himself as one of the reference figures for architectural and infrastructural solutions for real-time digital services on large scale solutions, working on systems that have allowed millions of people to enjoy events such as European and World Cup football or Summer and Winter Olympics. 

At the beginning of 2019 he created Newesis, with the aim of simplifying the use of the most advanced services of the cloud platforms and the practices od DevOps even in fieds other than sports.

Li Neo

Specializing in Sport Entries and Qualification, Registration and Accreditation Operations and Data and Games Management Systems, Li Neo, an elite badminton and bowling athlete, is one of the few Malaysians who has worked in the international scene of multi-sport events for the past ten years. She has been involved in all six (6) editions of the Youth Olympic Games in her specialisation; either working directly in the Organising Committee, as an International Olympic Committee (IOC) Consultant or both. She was also part of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee and served as an IOC consultant for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games. 

Neo has also been involved in the European Youth Olympic Festival, Summer Universiade and ANOC World Beach Games and is also currently a Consultant for the IOC Sports department and the Canadian Olympic Committee Sports Services department.

Working in various multi-sport events has equipped her with a strong understanding of operational planning, cross-functional dependencies and a continuous drive to improve and assimilate technology in business processes and increase efficiency both for the organization and involved stakeholders. She is determined that efficient business processes coupled with technology can reduce cost and resources for making the event more sustainable and impactful.      

Earlier this year, together with three good friends and highly skilled sport event professionals, they founded IGNITX, an international team of passionate Games experts and specialists, providing specialised consultancy and operational services.



As founder and CEO of Wiz-Team, Johann has more than fifteen years of experience in event data management, working with sports federations, the medical congress industry, corporate companies and government agencies. The diversity of these industries has provided him with a wide-ranging background and an exceptional experience in various types and sizes of events. Johann delivered innovative event management solutions to every Olympic Games since 2004. His previous experience includes web and database development, as well as project management in the luxury industry, and teaching. 

From the Wiz-Team headquarters in the Olympic Capital, Lausanne (Switzerland), Johann manages a global network of developers, translating complex data management requirements into solutions built by event professionals, specifically for event professionals.

Johann holds an MBA in international management and speaks English and French. In his spare time, he enjoys scuba diving and is passionate about new technologies.
